FVWS Architects Architecture: A Visual Odyssey through Our Bespoke Projects - REsidential
The House was originally designed by Bartch Architekton in 1989.
The design solution enhances openness and connectivity to improve the accommodation and creates a home that caters better to modern family living.
A sensitive design approach was implemented to retain the building’s character both internally and externally. The client was very open to experiment with colour and wallpaper.

Perched into the sloping terrain of Klein Windhoek, this two-storey house negotiates the site’s topography with a clean, considered geometry: the ground floor living areas flow seamlessly outward onto a sunlit pool terrace, where large glazed doors and stepped terraces blur indoor and outdoor boundaries, while the upper floor contains the private bedrooms and retreats, oriented fo
House Parker
The client's dream was a series of minimalist open spaces for living, entertaining, and enjoying their garden, all whilst staying within a tight budget.
The design solution enhances openness and connectivity to improve the accommodation and creates a home that caters better to modern family living.
House Kurz
The house is arranged rectilinear to make maximum use of western sea views with an articulated staircase and sun room celebrating the corner view and making full use of the North Sun. The building is set back to create an urban edge towards the street side whilst the ground floor is orientated inwards to create privacy in this urban setting.
Lake House Izaaks
The client shares a developing tradition of spending weekends and vacations in cottages adjacent to Lake Oanob.
The house is located as close to Lake Oanob as permitted and taking into consideration the high water mark.
Modern Luxury House
The house is arranged rectilinear to make maximum use of north sun with an articulated staircase and above average front door celebrating the street view. The building is set back to create an urban edge towards the street side whilst the ground floor is orientated inwards to create privacy in this urban setting.
